Student accommodation in France is quite expensive. Housing facilities in the university campus are quite limited, which even the French students are unable to avail sometimes. Hence, most students end up looking for accommodation in the city. As the number of private students moving to the city is increasing, the residence facility is gradually increasing as well, so finding accommodation is not a problem. Outside Paris, the rates are cheaper and it is comparatively easier to get accommodation there.
Government of France gives EURO 120 per month to all students.
Accommodation inside Paris : EURO 650 per month
Accommodation outside Paris : EURO 600 per month
Food - EURO 850 to EURO 1000 at university restaurants per month
Miscellaneous (transportation and leisure) - EURO 500 per month
